Movement and Character, 12 – 14

$180 Wednesdays on 8/18, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, SKIP WEEK, 9/22, 9/29 4:30 PM to 6 PM

In this class we help students combine their strong imaginative work with physical skills for a whole-body character experience.  Using an easy to grasp version of Laban movement technique, students learn to express their imagined emotional state through physical action.  With the fundamentals of projection and enunciation, the class will leave students with a solid movement vocabulary and the ability to create various emotions and character types through body expression. The class concludes with a brief showcase.
