KCT Next Stage
We need YOUR help to build the Next Stage of the Knoxville Children’s Theatre.
Knoxville Children’s Theatre is embarking on the “Next Stage,” capital campaign to purchase and renovate our new and permanent venue. KCT has experienced tremendous growth in its programming and participation since its initial founding in 2008. KCT has been looking since 2016 for an effective venue that will allow for the growth and demand to educate more children in the arts. And finally, KCT has a new venue that will not only support growth in participants, but it will also expand programs to allow even more aspects of the arts to be taught and experienced such as music education, choreography as well as costume, prop, set and lighting design. Children are never charged a fee to participate in a production and are never turned away from an academy class for their inability to pay. KCT is for ALL children to learn and create art.
KCT serves as a gateway for young artists to explore skills, outlets and careers through theatre. In addition to teaching art, the program teaches invaluable life skills and most importantly, is changing thousands of children’s lives for the better.
Supporting KCT cultivates crucial skills in children, increases literacy, improves academic achievement and develops tomorrow’s leaders by providing valuable arts education.

Wall of Fame
An easy way to help is to donate today and purchase a “Star”. You can honor your child, grandchild, one of the actors or anyone you wish to acknowledge. Your honoree’s name will appear in all of our playbills for one year. The Lifetime Star (Honorary or Memorial) is a permanent star that will appear in our playbills forever.
