FROM EAR TO PAGE AND STAGE:  Building and Performing the Poem,

Instructor: Marilyn Kallet, Poet Laureate of Knoxville

This very special workshop combines the skills of listening, writing and performing as students work not only to create a poem in class but to write and perform it, too.  LIMITED to 6 STUDENTS.

Marilyn Kallet, Knoxville Poet Laureate and Professor Emerita of English at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, attended Tufts University and the Sorbonne’s Cours de civilisation; received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Rutgers. Kallet is the author of 18 books, including How Our Bodies Learned, poetry from Black Widow Press, 2018.
