<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":957,"template":"","event_category":[21],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nKnoxville Children\u2019s Theatre will present \u201cThe Three Musketeers\u201d a live theatre version of the famous adventure novel by Alexandre Dumas, especialy adapted for young people and families.\u00a0 The play will be performed August 19 through September 4, Thursdays and Fridays at 7 PM; Saturdays at 1 PM and 5 PM; Sundays at 3 PM.<\/p>\n
To fulfull his dream of becoming a soldier, young d\u2019Artagnan heads for Paris and into romance, intrigue and adventure. On the way, he meets a secret agent, confronts a mysterious swordsman, rescues the beautiful Constance, and ultimately joins The Three Musketeers in their fight against an evil Cardinal.<\/p>\n
When D\u2019Artagnan learns of a plot to destroy the queen, he accepts the chance to prove himself worthy of Constance and of the uniform of a musketeer. With The Three Musketeers, he declares: \u201cAll for one and one for all.\u201d<\/p>\n
KCT is East Tennessee\u2019s leading producer of stage plays for children.<\/p>\n
The play is performed by 17 talented young actors, from ages 12 to 16.\u00a0 The role of D\u2019Artagnan will be performed by Grant Trivette.\u00a0 Three veteran actors will play \u201cthe three musketeers:\u201d Max Harper as Porthos, Eric Magee as Aramis, and Quintin Rhodes as Athos.\u00a0 Andrew Fetterolf performs the villainous role of the Cardinal.<\/p>\n
Four actors are making their KCT debuts: Tripp Keeton, Ahmani Marion, Caedmon Oakes, and Anna Kate Stanley.<\/p>\n
The rest of the cast includes KCT veteran performers: Ben Barber, Catherine Blevins, Betsy Blumberg, Annie Smith, Boone Sommers, Charlotte Stark, Levi Vinsant, and Jared Watkins.<\/p>\n
Clare Carter, a junior at West High, will make her directorial debut with this show.\u00a0 Clare served as Co-Director of \u201cSnow White & Rose Red\u201d after working in stage management and assistant direction. \u00a0Her chosen emphasis of technical theatre has been lighting. \u00a0 Clare is also a veteran actor, having appeared in over 16 plays at KCT.<\/p>\n
Carolyn Corley, an accredited fight director, will direct the stage combat.\u00a0 Eight actors are learning the basic elements of stage fencing to recreate the novel\u2019s famous sword-fighting sequences.<\/p>\n
Sean Sloas serves as the show\u2019s stage manager.\u00a0 Wheeler Moon will perform the duties of Production Manager.<\/p>\n
