Advanced Acting 302, ages 14 -18, $180<\/strong><\/p>\n Thursday on 4\/15, 4\/22, 4\/29, 5\/6, 5\/13, 5\/19<\/strong><\/p>\n 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n This class is for students with stage experience who already have a grasp of the fundamentals of realistic acting technique.\u00a0 The course is based on Uta Hagen\u2019s \u201cRespect for Acting\u201d and focuses on what Hagen calls particularization as it relates to 3 of her central ideas: Endowment, Immediacy, and Physical Destination.\u00a0 Actors will be challenged to create work that is consistently fresh and new (Immediacy), combined with realistic and convincing interaction with props and other stage objects (Endowment) and a truthful motivation for movement (Physical Destination).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":31833,"template":"","event_category":[22,29],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
