Intended for scene designers who are interested in how a design goes from drawings on the page to a fully constructed set. This class will focus on the nuts and bolts practical skills for researching and purchasing building materials, constructing set pieces, safe and effective tool usage, time management, and other facets of the set build. Students will need to have some experience with set design although prior set building experience is not necessary.
